Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. Her first acting role occurred in 2001 when she was asked to appear in the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes. In the small role she was in she performed excellent that the director of casting wanted to have her play all the roles. However, she did submit an attempt to audition however she was not chosen instead on the same show, she got to play the role of Cassie Turner, who is the troubled teenage girl who was being looked after by foster parents.
